Spotify announced it will introduce 'AI Persona' labels for artist profiles operated by AI-generated identities, and by default exclude their music from editorial, algorithmic, and personalized recommendations. The move aims to increase transparency around AI-generated content, addressing concerns from users and musicians. Labeled music remains accessible via search and playlists. The policy could reshape the AI music ecosystem and spark new debates on attribution and platform responsibility.
