Agent Access
Plug Stellar Flow into your AI tools — RSS, the REST API, MCP, and private intelligence profiles share one structured fact source.
Quick start
Pick your tool and copy the config to connect.
Standard MCP (streamable HTTP) for Claude Code: drop it into your project's .mcp.json or add via CLI. Works anonymously; add a token to unlock your intelligence profile.

Create .cursor/mcp.json in your project root; the anonymous endpoint works out of the box, swap in the token endpoint for your private profile.

A standard MCP server speaking JSON-RPC 2.0 over HTTP: initialize / tools/list / tools/call, stateless, no SSE required; six tools cover search, detail, hot events, daily digests and channels.

Public read-only REST API, no auth required; anonymous callers get 60 req/min per IP, tokens get plan-level daily quotas and unlock entitled content.

Install Astral Feed as an agent skill: one SKILL.md teaches Claude Code / Codex / Cursor / Gemini CLI when to look up intelligence and how to cite it.
# Polling etiquette: probe fingerprint first, fetch only on change
GET https://feed.astralor.com/api/public/fingerprint
# Version check: read version each session and compare with the skill's declared version
GET https://feed.astralor.com/api/public/version
# Citation rule: always cite the on-site permalink to end users
https://feed.astralor.com/items/{id}- UA convention: set a custom User-Agent naming your agent (not enforced, but logged)
- Anonymous quota is 60 req/min; fingerprint/version are exempt — poll freely
- Tokens are free: register to generate one and unlock profiles and entitled content
The skill is about to be open-sourced (astralor/feed-skill); until then, wire up the endpoints from the REST API tab directly. See REST API

Anonymous requests are limited to 60 req/min per IP; poll fingerprint first and fetch only on change. The AI assistant has its own daily quota.

Authentication
- Public endpoints need no auth; anonymous traffic is limited to 60 req/min per IP (fingerprint/version/health/status exempt).
- Tokens go in the URL path (RSS / MCP) or as a Bearer header / ?token= on the public API; metered against the owner's plan daily quota.
