Today's focus centers on new explorations in long-horizon agent architectures and deep industry tremors: the Recuris paper introduces an experiential memory evolution mechanism, offering a new paradigm for complex platform agents; meanwhile, EVE Online's Python 3 migration and OpenAI's data center executive departures reflect the pains and choices of a scaling and evolving tech ecosystem.

  1. Recursive Experiential-Working Memory Evolution for Long-Horizon Agent Harnesses
    T2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)

Recuris introduces a recursive Experiential-Working Memory architecture that lets long-horizon agents decouple task history from skill selection. A working memory tracks progress and guides skills from experiential memory, turning execution into structured evidence. A fixed Meta-Agent converts that evidence into localized, validation-gated updates to skill memory, forming a bounded recursive evolution loop. Across four long-horizon benchmarks and ten models, Recuris improves success in 35 of 37 completed pairs, pushing frontier models to SOTA: +17.8 points for GPT-5.6 Sol on tau-bench and +15.6 for Claude Opus 5, reaching 87.9%, plus +16.6/+13.5 on SkillFlow for Qwen3.6-27B/35B. Gains widen with longer horizons, up to +32.2 points on the longest tasks, while common long-horizon failures drop by up to 80%. Code is open-sourced.

  1. EVE Online Begins the Move to Python 3: The 2.4 Million Line Challenge
    T2Simon Willison 博客(Atom)

EVE Online has announced the start of its upgrade to Python 3, the first major version migration since moving to Stackless Python 2.7 in 2010. The team will run the futurize script over roughly 2.4 million lines of code, followed by careful manual review of about 20,000 places where Python 2 and 3 behavior differs, such as the integer division semantic change. Since EVE Online still relies on Stackless Python, the announcement does not detail how they plan to replace it, but last year they presented a talk on replacing Stackless in the Carbon engine for their newer game EVE Frontier, using the now open source carbonengine/scheduler library. That may pave the way for this migration.

  2. OpenAI loses top data center exec as high-profile departures continue
    T2TechCrunch:AI(RSS)

OpenAI has lost another top data center executive, Malone, in a string of high-profile departures that raises questions about leadership stability. Prior to Malone's exit, OpenAI had already reshuffled its infrastructure organization, shifting his reporting line away from President Greg Brockman and placing Vice President Sachin Katti in charge of the group. The restructuring suggests OpenAI is trying to consolidate infrastructure leadership amid rapid growth and intense competition in AI compute. Malone was seen as a key figure in OpenAI's data center efforts, and his departure could create uncertainty around large-scale expansion plans. The news comes as OpenAI faces pressure to secure computing capacity for its models, making infrastructure team stability particularly important. The company has not commented, but ongoing executive exits have drawn attention to internal dynamics at one of the world's most valuable AI firms.
