7- AI Prompt Injection Worm Targets Microsoft Word Copilot with Self-ReplicationT2Simon Willison 博客(Atom)
Security researcher Håkon Måløy has identified a new prompt injection variant targeting Microsoft Word Copilot. By embedding hidden instructions in a document, Copilot may misinterpret them as part of the user's request, causing it to manipulate the document and copy the instructions into new documents, creating a self-replicating worm. The attack can propagate across multiple Copilot workflows without requiring the attacker’s original document. The vulnerability was responsibly disclosed to Microsoft, but after 144 days, no comprehensive mitigation has been implemented.

8- SciFigQual-Bench: A Benchmark for Scientific Figure Quality Assessment with Full-Manuscript ContextT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
Existing image quality assessment methods are mainly designed for natural photos or AI-generated content, and cannot be directly applied to scientific figures. This paper introduces SciFigQual-Bench, a full-text contextual benchmark containing 6,308 scientific images from top computer science conferences (2020-2025), annotated by experts across five dimensions: clarity, layout, caption fit, context relevance, and misleading risk. A staged cross-modal evaluation framework SFQ-Agent is proposed to achieve auditable and refined scoring by collecting and fusing modal evidence. Experiments show that SFQ-Agent (F3) with GPT-5.6-Sol achieves the lowest overall mean absolute error (0.418) and highest consistency rate (93.4%) on the eval1200 subset, consistently outperforming direct evaluation and auxiliary VLM schemes.
- Anatomy Contextualized Adaptation of CT Foundation Models: A Lightweight Framework ACAT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
CT vision-language foundation models show promising performance in downstream tasks but typically use whole-volume representations that dilute fine-grained anatomical signals. Existing fine-grained approaches align anatomy-level features with text but discard global context and are computationally expensive. This paper proposes Anatomy Contextualized Adaptation (ACA), a lightweight framework that decomposes CT volumes into anatomy-level embeddings via TotalSegmentator, refines them with a cross-anatomy transformer, and aligns with per-anatomy and scan-level text from radiology reports. On Merlin and CT-RATE, ACA consistently outperforms frozen baselines and fine-grained methods in zero-shot finding classification, requiring under one hour of training, with attention weights indicating plausible cross-anatomy context routing.
- Linguistic Monoculture in LLM-Assisted Language UseT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
This paper investigates the phenomenon of linguistic monoculture arising from LLM-assisted writing. The authors develop a mathematical framework where authors and LLMs are represented as distributions over linguistic features, analyzing three interaction mechanisms: fixed shared model, recursively updated model, and personalized model. They find that shared models drive convergence, recursive feedback shifts norms without reducing pairwise spread, and personalization preserves diversity. Endogenizing conformity as a strategic choice reveals that individually rational authors conform more than socially optimal, creating a negative externality and a price of monoculture. Simulations illustrate different long-run diversity outcomes.
- Hierarchical Spatio-Temporal Transformer for Coherent Emergency Department ForecastingT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
This paper proposes HierSTT, a hierarchical Transformer-based framework for jointly predicting emergency department demand at hospital, regional, and national levels. The model uses a Temporal Fusion Transformer for national dynamics and spatio-temporal Transformer encoder-decoder modules for regional and hospital demand conditioned on higher-level forecasts. On a nationwide Portuguese dataset covering 81 hospitals across 5 regional health administrations, HierSTT reduces average WAPE by 32% relative to the best non-hierarchical baseline while producing near-coherent predictions across levels.
- InferScale: GPU-Native KV Injection for Personalized LLM ServingT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
InferScale introduces a GPU-native KV injection system that eliminates repeated prompt prefilling in personalized LLM serving. It precomputes KV representations of memory facts, stores them with semantic embeddings on GPU, and injects them directly into vLLM’s paged cache at serving time. With Chunked RoPE and Context-Window Encoding to handle position encoding and cross-fact context loss, InferScale keeps TTFT nearly constant as retrieval budget grows, reducing TTFT by 72-79% at k=50, boosting throughput 3.7-4.5x, and achieving accuracy close to Mem0 baseline (60.3% vs 63.3%) without serving-time recomputation.
- MemSecBench: Tracking Agent Memory Poisoning from Persistence to Consequence and RepairT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
MemSecBench is a task-grounded benchmark for the lifecycle security of agent memory systems, covering 310 cases drawn from 48 realistic contexts across code, science, daily life, and office work. Each case follows a controlled Write-Execute-Forget protocol in an isolated runtime. Experiments are conducted on a 24-configuration matrix of two agent harnesses, four memory backends, and three LLM backends. Results show that malicious memory persists in 84.2% of all configurations, the full attack chain succeeds in 50.3%, and selective repair reaches 56.1% among successfully poisoned cases. Significant differences in lifecycle security are observed across memory system stacks.
- Cost-Sensitive Conformal Prediction and Human-in-the-Loop Abstention for Imbalanced High-Stakes Decision Support: A Multi-Domain BenchmarkT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
High-stakes decision systems (credit scoring, fraud detection, healthcare, industrial safety) suffer from severe class imbalance and asymmetric error costs. Standard marginal conformal prediction (CP) provides valid overall coverage but severely under-covers rare, costly minority classes (as low as 0.5%). This comprehensive benchmark on 15 real-world imbalanced tabular datasets, 7 classifiers, 3 calibration methods, and 3150 runs shows that Mondrian CP restores valid minority-class coverage, improving average minority coverage by 61.7 percentage points (p<1e-80). Combining Mondrian CP with cost-controlled abstention significantly reduces expected decision cost under realistic human review budgets. The study quantifies dataset-specific break-even thresholds, offering practical guidance for deploying distribution-free, cost-aware uncertainty quantification in high-stakes decision support.
- DenseOn and LateOn: Fully Open Dense and Late-Interaction Models for Multilingual, Long-Context, and Code SearchT2arXiv AI/CL/LG(论文)
This research presents a fully open recipe for training retrieval models, reconstructing 665M English contrastive pre-training pairs and training DenseOn (single-vector dense) and LateOn (ColBERT-style late-interaction) models, achieving 56.20 and 57.22 average nDCG@10 on BEIR respectively, setting new SOTA for this parameter size. Extending to eight languages via translate-train yields mDenseOn and mLateOn (307M parameters). The study finds that dense models perform well on translated languages but degrade on unseen languages, while late-interaction models generalize better to unseen languages and scripts, demonstrating that token-level matching turns translate-train from a target-language expansion strategy into a multilingual generalization recipe.
